Alfred N. Brower - President and CEO
Alfred Brower, whose senior level experience within the digital signal processing
industry spans over twenty years, serves as Chairman, President and Chief Executive
Officer of DSPCon. One of the original founders of the Company, Mr. Brower is responsible
for overseeing all aspects of DSPCon’s operations and offers a combination of technical
and managerial expertise that fosters an atmosphere of creative growth. Prior to
DSPCon, Mr. Brower served in a number of senior-level design engineering positions
with Bell Laboratories and ITT Corporation. He is a published author and widely
acknowledged expert in the fields of speech coding and digital recording.
Robert F. Franz – Chief Engineer
A co-founder of DSPCon, Robert Franz currently serves as the Company’s Chief
Engineer and Director of Hardware Architecture. In this role, he is responsible
for managing product and system development activities as well as overseeing board-level
design engineering initiatives. A recognized industry expert in modem design, RF
system development and active noise cancellation systems, Mr. Franz possesses over
twenty years of hands-on engineering application experience in advanced, real-time
digital signal processing, software development and data acquisition systems.
Scott Snyder - Director of Operations
Scott Snyder directs operations and oversees all real-time and post-processing analytical
software development at DSPCon. In this role, he is responsible for managing software
requirements in support of applications and projects that require data streaming,
algorithm development, post-test data analysis and demodulation. An accomplished
hardware and software engineer, Mr. Snyder’s expertise and experience includes over
twenty years of diversified digital signal processing development leadership in
support of a wide range of data acquisition hardware and applications.
John Pecina –Director, Systems Engineering
John Pecina is responsible for the specification, design and project management
of digital signal processing and recording systems and software. A published author
and prominent industry speaker, Mr. Pecina has over twenty years of experience in
engineering and commercially deploying large- and small-scale digital signal processing
systems. His extensive technical expertise encompasses a wide range of DSP domains
and applications including acoustic signal processing, optical metrology, image
formation, target recognition, control systems, interferometry, and automatic test
and measurement equipment.
